What the project needed.

Easy Banking Business was an established corporate banking tool used by thousands of companies across Belgium and Europe.

The consulting engagement delivered a stable, incremental modernization roadmap, allowing new SwiftUI screens to co-exist cleanly with legacy Objective-C modules.

What I shipped.

  • Led the strategic migration from legacy Objective-C toward Swift and SwiftUI for enterprise banking.
  • Introduced modular VIPER architecture for all new features to decouple business logic from UI.
  • Implemented Snapshot Testing to ensure zero UI regressions across banking forms and financial tables.
  • Established static analysis quality gates and mentored junior engineers during the migration.

Technical architecture & leadership.

  • Designed the interoperability layer connecting legacy Objective-C services with modern SwiftUI views.
  • Authored comprehensive snapshot test suites for high-security financial transactions.
  • Worked closely with UX and compliance teams to prioritize customer-facing stability.

Results in production.

  • Drastically reduced customer support tickets regarding app crashes and transaction rendering glitches.
  • Accelerated feature velocity for new banking capabilities by over 40%.
