The situation
What the project needed.
The UC3M period combined applied mobility research, undergraduate teaching, and maintenance of software used in a real public inspection context.
The FBrake work focused on Android app maintenance and extension for the brake-efficiency process used in Spain’s ITV vehicle inspections.

What I shipped.
- Maintained and extended FBrake, the nationwide Android app powering Spain's ITV vehicle brake efficiency testing.
- Researched autonomous vehicle homologation standards at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
- Taught 2 undergraduate courses on Agile Software Development Techniques.
Personal contribution
Technical architecture & leadership.
- Maintained hardware telemetry communication with brake test rollers and updated calculation algorithms.
- Lectured undergraduate engineering students in Agile methodologies and software testing.
