What the project needed.

Originally developed as a take-home challenge for a senior iOS role, this project became an open-source playground for reactive programming, custom UI transitions, and automated CI pipelines.

What I shipped.

  • Built a reactive iOS app consuming the Marvel Developer API with RxSwift data streams.
  • Implemented custom UIViewController animated transitions with dynamic blur effects and parallax scrolling.
  • Automated testing, linting, and IPA generation using GitLab CI.
  • Maintained and modernized the codebase from Swift 3 through Swift 5.

Technical architecture & leadership.

  • Designed reactive network layer, image cache prefetching, and custom interactive presentation controllers.

Results in production.

  • Highly rated demonstration of reactive architecture and CI automation for modern Swift teams.
