A TV streaming platform and SDK deployed across 7+ countries by major European telecom operators, with massive gains in reliability and ratings.
The situation
What the project needed.
NEXX4 had to support multiple operators, national regulations, and custom white-label UI theming without becoming a separate codebase for every customer.
The iOS architecture relied on custom DTO layers, runtime feature flags, modular SDK boundaries, and automated testing using Quick & Nimble.
The work
What I shipped.
- Led a 5-person iOS squad building NEXX4 white-label platform for Tier-1 telecom operators.
- Shipped an SDK-grade streaming platform used across 7+ countries by hundreds of thousands of active users.
- Architected reactive data flows using RxSwift, SnapKit, Swinject, Realm, and Redux patterns.
- Slashed crash rate from 1.5% to below 0.1% through robust error handling and observability.
- Improved cold startup time by 2 seconds and helped elevate App Store rating from 3.0 to 4.5 stars.
Personal contribution
Technical architecture & leadership.
- Designed the full DTO architecture, server-side ad skipping, and dynamic multi-operator theming.
- Introduced SonarQube static analysis, strict quality gates, and automated test pipelines.
- Mentored and coordinated the distributed iOS squad through rapid international rollouts.

- Successfully deployed across A1 Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Wind Vision Greece, Orange TV Belgium, and Amplia TV.
