What the project needed.

Hugo's first commercial iOS project, developed in a team of 4 engineers eager to master Swift upon its initial release by Apple in 2014.

What I shipped.

  • Built a high-fidelity digital showroom for European luxury textile brand Meryl.
  • Adapted intricate brand guidelines into responsive iPad and iPhone navigation flows.
  • One of the earliest commercial applications built using Apple's newly announced Swift language.

Technical architecture & leadership.

  • Co-developed catalog browsing engine, gesture-driven page transitions, and image caching.

Results in production.

  • Successfully deployed on the App Store and showcased at major European textile trade fairs.
