Welcome to Notebook for Lifters (the "App" and the "Site"). By accessing our Site or utilizing our App, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, or browsing this Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease all access and use of our Site and App.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, source code, visual designs, user interfaces, app assets, logos, graphics, icons, text, and layout (collectively, "Intellectual Property") are owned by, or licensed to, Notebook for Lifters. This property is protected under international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App and Site for your personal, non-commercial training logging. No other rights are granted.

3. Strictly Prohibited Activities (Anti-Scraping & Extraction)

To preserve the security, integrity, and proprietary value of the App and Site, the following actions are strictly prohibited:

• No Automated Scraping: You may not use any bot, spider, scraper, script, or other automated means to access, copy, or monitor any assets, graphics, designs, data, or text on the Site or within the App.
• No Database/Content Harvesting: You may not systematically extract content, exercise libraries, user interfaces, templates, or media to compile directories, software products, or competitive services.
• No Reverse Engineering: You may not decompile, disassemble, decrypt, extract, or reverse-engineer the App binary (the .ipa file) or compile asset catalog files (.car files) to retrieve raw assets or source code.

4. Prohibition on AI and Machine Learning Training

You explicitly agree not to use any assets, images, graphic designs, written copy, code, or data extracted from the Site or the App for the purpose of training, fine-tuning, testing, or validating machine learning models, artificial intelligence agents, neural networks, or large language models (LLMs) without our prior express written permission.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App and Site are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. Notebook for Lifters does not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that your workout data will never experience local cache loss due to OS-level system terminations. Because the App operates local-first, the backup and preservation of lifting logs (via the export functions) are the sole responsibility of the user.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Notebook for Lifters, its creators, or contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to gym injuries, training mistakes, loss of local files, or hardware damage.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site or App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
